This month, our team at Australian Finance Service Solutions partnered with Youth Off The Streets to deliver free financial literacy workshops to young Australians aged 16-25 across Western Sydney. Over three sessions, our financial advisors volunteered their time to teach essential money management skills, from budgeting basics to understanding superannuation.

“Seeing the lightbulb moments when these young people realize they can take control of their financial future is incredibly rewarding,” said Sarah Chen, Senior Financial Advisor who led the workshops. “Many of them had never been taught how to create a budget or understand credit scores.”
The initiative reached 87 young participants, with follow-up surveys showing 94% felt more confident managing their money after attending. We’ve committed to making this an ongoing quarterly program and are already planning sessions for early 2025.
