Home loans funded by Advantedge are scheduled to move onto NAB’s systems on Saturday 17 October 2026, when each loan becomes known as a NAB Tailored Home Loan. NAB has also announced an increase to variable rates for existing Advantedge home loans from the same date; NAB’s own wording is quoted under What changes below.
This article sets out the dates and changes that NAB and Advantedge have published, so you can check them against the letter you have received. It is a summary of public information, not a recommendation about your loan.
Is your loan affected?
Advantedge describes itself as “a wholesale funder and distributor of white label home loans” available through mortgage brokers. White label means the loan is sold under another brand name, so the word Advantedge may not be the name you know your loan by. Advantedge’s customer FAQs list these products as funded by Advantedge:
- AFG Home Loans Edge
- Astute Simplicity Home Loans
- Connective Essentials
- Go Edge
- Myloan Elect
- LJ Hooker Home Loans Connect
- Resi Select
- Mortgage Choice SmartSelect Home Loans
- Yellow Brick Road Select
- realestate.com.au Home Loan
- Bluegum Home Loans
Advantedge also funds home loans offered under individual mortgage managers’ own brands. The new NAB account details are in the Welcome to NAB letter that NAB sent in September 2026. If you are unsure whether your loan is included, ask your broker, or call Advantedge Customer Care on 1300 300 989, which is available until the loans move on 17 October.
Key dates
| Date (2026) | What happens |
|---|---|
| 14 to 19 October | Redraw requests are not processed. |
| 16 to 18 October | Payments received into the Advantedge loan account are held, then deposited to the NAB Tailored Home Loan on Monday 19 October. |
| Saturday 17 October | Loans move onto NAB’s systems. NAB’s variable rate increase for existing Advantedge home loans takes effect (NAB’s wording is quoted below). |
| After Sunday 18 October | Payments made using the old Advantedge BSB and account number are returned and need to be resent using the new NAB details. |
| From Monday 19 October | The loan can be viewed in NAB Internet Banking and the NAB app, and redraw is available again through NAB. |
What changes
Account details. The loan gets a new NAB BSB and account number. These are in the Welcome to NAB letter. The old Advantedge details stop working for incoming payments after Sunday 18 October, as set out in the table above.
Interest rate. NAB’s notice on its Advantedge migration page, as checked on 12 October 2026, reads: “Following the RBA’s decision on 29 September 2026, variable rates for existing Advantedge home loans will increase by 0.25% p.a. from Saturday 17 October 2026, when these loans migrate to NAB.” Advantedge’s FAQs refer borrowers to their personalised welcome letter for information about their own interest rate, and NAB says the rate and repayments can be viewed online from 19 October 2026.
Redraw. After the pause, redraw on variable rate loans is available through NAB from Monday 19 October, with some differences. Redraw funds can only be paid into an eligible NAB transaction account in the customer’s own name. The minimum redraw amount is $500. Scheduled redraws, fast redraw and redraw by cheque are not available from Wednesday 14 October 2026, and existing scheduled redraws are cancelled for payments after that date. Advantedge also notes that the amount available to redraw may be less, because NAB’s calculation does not include your next scheduled repayment.
Interest-only loans. Interest-only repayments move to the last business day of each month. If your usual repayment falls on or before Tuesday 13 October 2026, you will have two interest-only repayments in October: the usual one, which collects September’s interest, and a further one due on Friday 30 October 2026 for October’s interest. Advantedge describes this as a one-off change.
Direct debits. Advantedge says that in most cases a direct debit repayment will continue as normal. The name shown on the paying account’s statement changes from Advantedge Financial Services to National Australia Bank Limited.
Monthly service fee. Advantedge’s FAQs state that the monthly service fee will not be charged after the loan moves to NAB’s systems, and that NAB will let customers know if the fee becomes payable in the future.
Why it is happening. NAB announced its decision to close the Advantedge business on 11 June 2025. Its migration page says customers “will benefit from greater flexibility and additional features”, including access to everyday banking accounts and the NAB app.
What to do this week
- Read your Welcome to NAB letter. NAB asks customers to check the key dates, the new NAB loan account details, and any actions that apply to them.
- Update anyone who pays into the loan. If salary credits or other direct transfers go into your home loan account, the payer needs your new NAB BSB and account number for payments made on or after Monday 19 October.
- Check your direct debit and personal details. Advantedge’s FAQs suggest confirming both in StarNet before the move.
- Register for NAB Internet Banking and the NAB app. NAB says you can do this now, using the NAB ID in the welcome letter if you are new to NAB.
- On interest only? If two repayments apply to you in October, Advantedge asks borrowers to have sufficient funds available for both.
For questions about your own loan, NAB’s page lists three options: contact your mortgage broker, book an appointment with a NAB banker, or visit a NAB branch. Advantedge states that existing financial hardship arrangements continue as agreed, and NAB says support is available for customers experiencing financial difficulty.
Advantedge was a home loan brand, so this change is about residential loans. If you are also financing a commercial property or a building project, we cover those separately: commercial property finance and development and construction loans.
