At AUFSS we often say our mission is to add value beyond the loan. For us, that starts in our own backyard — and there is no better example than our local school community.
Proud major sponsor of our local school carnival
AUFSS was proud to be a major sponsor of the carnival at our kids’ local primary school. Seeing our name up on the big screen was a nice moment — but the real reward was watching the kids, families and teachers enjoy a day that took months of behind-the-scenes work from a small army of parent volunteers.
Our founder Jack Si was one of the parents helping to organise the carnival, so this sponsorship wasn’t a cheque posted from a distance. It came with early mornings, logistics runs and plenty of lifting.
More than a sponsorship
Giving back looks different from week to week. Jack is a regular helper in the school canteen, and when the canteen needed better cold storage for event days, he donated an esky to keep drinks and food cold for the kids. Small things — but school communities run on exactly these small things.
Why we do it
AUFSS is a Mount Waverley business. The families and business owners we help with finance are the same people we stand next to at school pick-up, weekend sport and community events. Supporting the places our community gathers isn’t a marketing exercise for us — it’s simply what being part of a community means.
We’ll keep showing up. And if you happen to see Jack behind the canteen counter, say g’day.
